Miles Avery Named Assistant Coach of U.S. Men’s Olympic Gymnastics Team

Today in Colorado Springs at the Olympic Training Center, Miles Avery was named Assistant Coach for Team USA, serving alongside Head Coach Kevin Maseika of Houston. This will be Avery's fourth consecutive Olympics to serve as Assistant Coach. Among their duties, it is typical for Olympic assistant coaches to act as liaisons for the athletes' personal coaches, who are not allowed on the floor during competitions. [...more]

USA Gymnastics (USAG) has confirmed Morgan Hamm's spot on the U.S. Men's Olympic Gymnastics team. Two weeks ago, Hamm received a warning for using a prescribed anti-inflammatory without filing proper paperwork with the anti-doping authorities.
