Yes, the USA Men’s Team is in fierce competition with each other, but only in some of their downtime activities. The group gets along well, and they enjoy communal dining as well as going to the movies (they all just saw The Dark Knight together). Their hard work in the gym grants them some cameraderie and downtime.
Kevin Tan is apparently the one to beat, according to his girlfriend, in the music simulation games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band, where he excels on vocals and guitar. But one of Tan’s teammates, Joey Hagerty, apparently also has magic guitar fingers. Whatever works to keep our guys happy outside of the gym, and functioning as a strong team so that they come back clinking with some real heavy metal.
