Raj Bhavsar Takes 2nd & 4th at 2009 Moscow Stars World Cup
Posted on 30 May 2009 by admin
Raj Bhavsar was the only American to advance to the finals at this weekend’s Moscow Stars World Cup. In the preliminaries, he debuted his new skill on parallel bars, the "Bhavsar." Similar to a Tkachev, Raj goes practically the entire length of the bars before he regrasps.
In the finals, Raj did very well by placing 2nd on parallel bars (15.05) and 4th on rings (15.00). David Sender and Guillermo Alvarez did not make it to the finals, although Sender came very close by finishing 9th on vault in the prelims. The top eight qualified for the finals.

Not sure what happened to him. He was on the roster. Perhaps he got hurt… haven’t read anything about it.
