Morgan Hamm: Done Deal, or Not?

Posted on 22 July 2008 by admin

Diane Pucin, on her El Lay Times blog , is stirring up the pot with her recent blurb about Morgan Hamm. It appears that Morgan hasn’t quite officially been given the green light for Beijing.

Supposedly, FIG has the option to ask that the United States Anti-Doping Agency’s decision to give Morgan a warning, instead of a suspension, be overturned. If FIG exercises that option, the case would be referred to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland.

Good grief, we thought this minor episode was over. Let’s hope that FIG respects the actions of USADA, and lets sleeping dogs lie.
