Justin Spring Planning on London 2012 Olympics

The new Olympic bronze medal holder spoke to the Fighting Illini the other day about his future plans. Back when he first made the Olympic team, visibly shocked would be the best way to describe his facial expression. But he has turned in some great Olympic gymnastics, especially high bar, and he was pumped and supportive during the meets.
Since the team finals, he’s been blissfully out of the gym, and enjoying attending other Olympic venues with his team brothers. He considers the upcoming three-month gymnastics tour to be "restful," and thereafter he’d like to keep a training regimen and make the Olympic team again in 2012. We welcome the chance to have him back on the team.
