In the Mercury News today, Horton said that he’d been spending his free minutes reading various blogs predicting Team USA’s demise.

“I know we’re not supposed to be doing that,” he said, sheepishly. “But I couldn’t believe what people were saying. It fired us up.”

Well, whatever it takes to keep the team fired and ready. But we know that the U.S. men are in good shape to win bronze, and we said so yesterday.

Jonathan Horton will have a busy day today in the Men’s Team Finals. He will be competing in every event except for pommel horse. Here is the lineup:
