Posted on 19 January 2009 by admin

The fifth-ranked Cal Bears defeated top-ranked Stanford in the 2009 season opener for both clubs. Cal freshman Glen Ishino provided an early indication why he was the nation’s top recruit by winning the all-around (86.200) in his collegiate debut.

Check out the results here.

This is the second season in a row that Cal beat Stanford in the traditional opener.  Last year, Stanford exacted revenge the following weekend at the Stanford Open.

very interesting. All the scores in the NCAA seemed verrrry low. Oklahoma is up by nearly 10 points. I wonder if they are way ahead or if the judging wasnt as strict at the Oklahoma meets.
