2009 Field is Set for 2009 VISA Men’s Gymnastics Championships

Today’s Men’s Qualifier at the U.S. Olympic Training Center produced twenty-six Senior Division gymnasts qualifiers for the 2009 VISA Championships. Two Ohio State gymnasts, Brandon Wynn and Jake Bateman, posted the highest scores of the day to lead all qualifiers. Among the top clubbers who qualified to compete in the Senior Division were CJ Maestas, Jake Dalton and Alex Naddour.
The top ten finishers in the Junior Division, both age groups combined, qualified for VISAs. Arete’s Jacob Dastrup made the leap from level 9 to qualify in the 14-15 age division. Orlando Metro’s Jake Martin and Wyatt Aycock also cracked the top ten to complete the Junior Division field.

The 2009 VISA Championships will take place August 12-15 in Dallas, TX.
